In 1903, an enterprising Mr A. P. Bigelow introduced a towel rental service to the business establishments of London, with the unique selling point that each towel was marked with the customer's initials. The initials ensured that customers only received their own towels, and formed the basis for the name of the company, 'Initial Towel Supply Company'.
From that beginning, Initial went on to become one of the world’s leading washroom hygiene service companies.
Today in Australia, Initial is a division of Rentokil Initial Pty Ltd ABN 98 000 034 597).
Initial provides innovative products and services to maintain washroom hygiene: from sanitisers to sanitary disposal units, from toilet seat protection to air fresheners.
The Initial brand is recognised for its:

Initial have received HACCP Australia endorsement for our range of washroom hygiene products and services. This endorsement means that Initial products and services complement the "cleaning and sanitation" component of a HACCP based food safety programme and are appropriate for use in a food handling or food processing facility.
